2023 Hurling Calendar confirmed

While details of the upcoming Munster Senior Hurling League will be officially revealed next Monday afternoon, Clare can at least plan out the remainder of their 2023 season after the GAA’s Master Fixture Plan was confirmed this week.

Brian Lohan’s side commence their Allianz Hurling League Division 1 campaign at home to Westmeath on Sunday, February 5th while their latest Munster Senior Championship bid begins on Sunday, April 23rd against neighbours Tipperary in Cusack Park.

Following on from last year’s encouraging development, it was also announced this week that three of Clare’s Munster Hurling Championship ties will form double headers with their camogie counterparts.

Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Group A

Round 1 - (Sunday, February 5th) - Clare v Westmeath @ Cusack Park Ennis, 2pm

Round 2 - (Saturday, February 11th) - Limerick v Clare @ TUS Gaelic Grounds Limerick, 7pm

Round 3 - (Sunday, February 26th) - Wexford v Clare @ Chadwicks Wexford Park Wexford, 1.45pm

Round 4 - (Sunday, March 12th) - Clare v Galway @ Cusack Park Ennis, 1.45pm

Round 5 - (Sunday, March 19th) - Clare v Cork @ Cusack Park Ennis, 1.45pm


Semi-Finals (Saturday/Sunday, March 25/26th) - Group A Winners v Group B Runners-Up, Group B Winners v Group A Runners-Up

The Camogie Master Fixtures Plan is still to be confirmed while the provincial draws for minor and Under 20 hurling championships will be announced in the New Year.
